About
My research field resides within the area of economics and management of intellectual property, business strategy, and institutional economics. Although I specialise in patents, my research also covers areas relating to copyrights, open source, and the exploitation of intellectual property with no formal IPR protection. I research firm’s complementary use of IP strategies (such as the choice between patents, copyrights, open source and non-patented innovation), as part of developing, deploying and renewing capabilities within firms.
