I have recently prepared a new edition and translation of Sir John Mandeville's Book of Marvels and Travels for Oxford University Press's World's Classics series. This will appear in 2012. I am now starting a new project on late medieval images of the Holy Land.
To this end I will be running an AHRC-funded Research Network during 2011-12, called 'Remembered Places and Invented Traditions: Thinking about the Holy Land in the Late Medieval West'.
