About
I have degrees both in "Computer Science in Europe", from the University of Hertfordshire, and "Politics, Philosophy, and History" from Birkbeck College, University of London.
Additionally I also have a masters in Cultural and Critical Studies, also from the University of London.
Whilst unfortunately (in one sense) I chose a mortgage over continued study, I continue to pursue at personal level my interest in modern European history and politics, 19th Century German Philosophy, 20th Century Cultural and Critical thought, the history of ideas, and theorists such as Judith Butler.
From my first degree, I also continue to take an interest in artificial neural networks, logic, and computability.
Whilst not formally studied I also take an interest in Chinese language and history, a mild interest in ancient Greek and Roman cultures. Additionally I find the Icelandic Norse sagas and similar periods where societies transition from one set of mythologies to another fascinating.
It is unclear whether, as someone no longer formally involved in academia, I am 'allowed' on this site; but there you go :)
