Ron Peek is a PhD student in the Department of Applied Linguistics and Communication at Birkbeck. His current research focuses on multiple language acquisition in polyglots, with a particular interest in their language learning (and maintenance) strategies from a variety of perspectives, including cognitive and sociocultural ones. His wider research interests include bi-, tri- and multilingualism, as well as second and third language acquisition.
